Welcome to my world!

Hi guys, thanks for visiting my blog. Not my first blog, actually, but one of my best. Anyway, I want to tell you a little about myself before I start anything. Let's see... oh yeah. I really, really, really, really, really love How to Train Your DRAGON!!!!! It's the best movie ever. It's like... wow, I cannot describe it. It's incredible, amazing, indescribable, very wow, and also heart-touching too. It's the best movie ever. Oh, and I also like American Girl. It's pretty good, but of course not as good as How to Train Your DRAGON. And I also like The Sims 2. I have Seasons, Pets, Family Fun stuff, Glamor Life stuff, etc. Oh, and I desperately want to be a Viking. Well, that's all the basics about me and you can learn the details in this blog. Happy reading!

CISV Summer Village

Have not been posting for a looooong time... AND I'VE GOT NEWS!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to a camp in Colombia for a whole month... a CISV camp!
CISV stands for Children International Summer Village, and I'll be staying there for a month, from June to July, with 3 other Indonesian kids... of course, there are other Indonesian kids who'll be going to other countries like Norway (AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!), USA (lucky!), and Faroe Island (no offense but I don't even know where that place is).
I'm totally excited, but I wish my third and fourth wish will come true really, really, really, really, really soon, so by the time I get there I'll be a blonde already. And I wish my reproduction system will be broken!
Anyway, that's all, and I watched this CISV video on YouTube, CISV "open your eyes village" norway 2009 !!!!
That's all, and see ya! Bye!

Swimming Lessons

Have I told you guys that I've been taking swimming lessons ever since the end of November 2010? Well, I guess I haven't (or had I?) but anyway I take the lessons every Thursday and Saturday. Or at least when I can make it.
Anyway, today right after school ended my Mom picked me up so we can drive directly to the swimming pool in Vila Dago Tol, and when we got there my brother said that he forgot to pack his swimming trunks. So Mom had to get home, pick up those trunks, and get back here, and that probably took up almost 15 minutes, more or less. And I had started MY swimming lesson ahead, which I wasn't sure is an advantage. Oh, well...
Anyway today we got to jump of the end of the pool, swim, turn back, reversed, and swam back again. This was really complicated and I was exhausted, not only because of the swimming itself but also because of school, because we had Try Out today (as we do every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, starting from last week), and then Mandarin, and then Religion and Art. And the glue fumes and noise in Art gave me a headache, so keep that in mind.
Oh, and in case you're wondering what a Try Out is, I better explain that all sixth-graders in Indonesia have to take this HUGE exam called the UASBN (Ujian Akhir Sekolah Berstandar Nasional) if they wanna pass to middle school, or what we call SMP.
AND, this UASBN is a really, really serious exam that we've been preparing ourselves ever since fifth grade (that's right)! Try Outs are supposed to be like practices, and we have it every Tuesday (Science), Wednesday (Math Indo), and Thursday (Bahasa Indonesia).
Yeah, we're probably lucky enough there are only three subjects in this UASBN thing. But then again, there's something else called the UAS, which is a whole other story...
So just to tell you what happened today. See ya later guys and stay on the lookout for more posts!

I Hate My Pick-Up

Today we had a field trip to PPIPTEK and MIGAS (fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh grade) and we had a jolly great time. We saw lots of miniatures and lots of other fun science stuff.
In fact, everything was really fun until we got back to school.
We were supposed to be picked up at 3.00, and guess when the pick-up came? 3.45!
I swear, if I'm the president, I will fire the pick-up man, or roast him to death.
F**K him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS. this is a really big deal and I'm too angry to say anything more.
The world is INJUSTICE! My brother got home at 3.45 and he didn't come home late! I was supposed to be picked up at 3.00 and got home at 4.00!
I HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WAIT 'TILL I DO SOMETHING VIOLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My American Girl magazine came yesterday!

Hello!
Yesterday I got a big surprise from my Mom--she got me an American Girl magazine! It was the newest edition, the January-February one, and it was pretty cool, although I have to admit it's pretty boring by the way. It comes with a bonus of cut-out heart frames, a small Kanani doll pamphlet, and a Treats Calendar. At least now I have an American calendar.
But, yeah, it's a pretty nice find, and I should be thankful I finally got one anyway.
That's all, and bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Sandlot: Heading Home

This is the best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's about a guy called Tommy (41 years old, I think) who is a champion baseball player but isn't really a team player. One day when he was practicing, he got hit by a baseball and was sent back to the past, returning as his 12-year-old self, and was given a second chance to change his life and meet his mother again.
This is a really touching and awesome story and you should all watch it. Now baseball has become my favorite sport for sure, other than soccer and gymnastics, which by the way, I wish I could be better at.
I watched it just now and it was really cool, I mean it IS really cool. If I hadn't watched it, I might miss the best movie in my life.
If you're wondering, How to Train Your DRAGON is still my other favorite movie, but The Sandlot: Heading Home is definitely the first movie to ever be as good as How to Train Your DRAGON.
Go Sandlot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mysterious Benedict Society

The Mysterious Benedict Society is a really great book, written by Treton Lee Stewart.
In fact, it's probably the best book ever written and read. It's the top of my favorite books list now!
It's about this 11-year-old boy, Reynard Muldoon (Reynie for short) who sees this advertisement and decides to enter it. The next thing he knew, he's in the middle of a dangerous adventure.
On the way, he meets three great friends, George (Sticky) Washington, Kate Wetherall, and Constance Contraire. They have different personalities. Reynie is smart and clever. Whatever Sticky reads sticks to his mind. Kate used to be in the circus, and therefore brave and adventurous. Constance is stubbornly stubborn.
My favorite, is, of course, Kate Wetherall. Countless times I wished I'm just like her.
Even the cover of the book is really interesting. I don't have a picture of it, but you can look it up on Google and see what you find.
My friend Inggrid lent this book to me and I finished it in a day and a night.
It's the best book ever and I wish I could own it, but well, I have to sadly let it go tomorrow. Oh, well...

PS. READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!! IT'S THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
